We are looking for a master of puppets… no wait, words! Yes. We are after a master of words.
We are a small internal team, with an extensive network of supporting freelancers and a client base which a larger agency would be proud of.
Situated in Leeds Dock, our office is easily commutable from the train station. If you don’t fancy the walk, you could always take the water taxi!
Who are you?
You are, as all job adverts state, self-motivated, work well with others etc. etc. etc. Yes, yes, all of those things you usually read apply to this vacancy. More importantly you have a passion for what you do, and we mean real passion, not the cliché type people say when applying for a job they are not bothered about.
Your CV could be littered with large or small brands that you have worked with, but your portfolio must be full of inspirational words. And we’re not talking Athena posters.
Experiences should preferably cover B2B and B2C, maybe from a journalistic background. You will have written copy for a variety of industries and content types.
You’re comfortable conducting content interviews, with key stakeholders and subject matter experts, and researching themes to be able to produce an outstanding piece of work.
Written communication is a given obvs., but verbal is also crucial. Whether collaborating with customers on a concept, pitching strategic ideas to a senior team or simply participating in an internal meeting, we want you to have a voice.
What will you be doing?
As typical of an agency, the role will have variety, working on a mixed range of customers and internal projects. Helping them bring their content to life through creative storytelling.
Getting involved in projects early to help define the output and getting the most from the customer’s tone of voice – or helping them develop their tone of voice.
Understanding our customer’s customers regarding persona development.
As well as working closely with our customers, development and progression of our brand will be a key part of the role.
